I cannot access Github Copilot Pro Free for 30 days

In my payment information It shows this: invalid payment method- authorization hold failed, but really all my payment information is correct.

Hi @emilsmikulis,

As this is an account related issue, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Billing, payments, or receipts" and explain your problem.

@emilsmikulis, if it's a payment method issue and you're sure you've correctly filled out your billing info and your card/bank account has no restrictions, I don't know exactly what the solution could be, there must have been some error while processing the transaction. So I hope the support team will get back to you as soon as possible to assist you.

One question though, in your copilot settings do you see something like the screenshot below?

I have this in my copilot settings.

I guess it is a transaction error, first I tried to put in my card information, did not work, then put in through paypal, kind of worked, because it showed me 0.00$ transaction from my card to Github, but nothing happened really, it does not show in my card transactions in my card admin panel.

If I have the opportunity to use free pro trial, why not, you know? Then, after 30 days I probably would buy the subscription.

Also, do you have any advice on how to be a driver in my programming journey? Not just a passenger, with copilot driving the car?

I started building learning app with infinite canvas on Tauri with React, but I did it with Copilot, but I would like to know how to build it also on my own, so maybe you have any suggestions?

@davevad93 I read in youtube authorization payment, that in this case github wants to make sure that my payment method is valid and that I have enough funds,to make a purchase- maybe that is the problem- because I have like 1.8 euro currently on my card and it means I do not have enough funds?

But would the authorization payment be 10$?

I do not think so, for me it was shown it is 0.00$ , but yeah, just wanted to add this, because maybe this is the problem and I have to put some Cash on my card, or again- contact my bank for More info.

@emilsmikulis sorry for the late reply and yes, most likely that is indeed the problem, because if I'm not mistaken, by activating the 30-day free trial GitHub withdraws $10 from your card which will be refunded when the trial ends.
